My journey as a Product Designer
Hey there! I’m Agustin, but you can also call me Chango (it’s a long story). I'm a sea-side boy, born and raised in Mar del Plata, on the Argentinian coast. Though you might think I'd be a surfer, I gave it a shot and it just wasn't my thing.
Since 2009, after graduating in the University as a Graphic & Multimedia Designer, I've been working as a Digital Designer, starting by developing my own websites using tables in Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Time flies, doesn’t it?
For a few years, I worked on software factories, design studios, startups and communication agencies until 2014. That's when I ditched the 9 to 5 and turned full-time freelancer. My grand plan was to backpack across South America, while staying financially afloat with design gigs. The adventure lasted 8 months, and I even got kidnapped in Peru (another long story, for another day).
I felt that I returned to Argentina as a more confident designer. This was not a result of sitting in an office for 8 hours a day, but from discovering other cultures, talking to people, and understanding realities different from my own.
By 2016, I was fully focused on Product Design. First, I was the first designer at My Marketplace Builder, a no-code B2B SaaS startup from Austin, TX. Next, in 2020 I joined Sololearn, an armenian platform teaching people to code for free.
And that's about it, for now! I'm excited about new opportunities and look forward to the adventures that lie ahead.

Life is not all about work
Traveling has become a beloved pastime of mine in recent years. Living in Berlin means Europe is an open playground. I've been exploring non-stop since moving here in 2019. You can view some of my journey on my Instagram account.

And let's not forget coffee.
I've also got this cool passion project that's all about my favorite things: Taking pics and sipping coffee. I actually started this awesome community called Berliner Coffee. We're small, but boy, are we mighty!
Every day, I take 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon to hand brew coffee from different corners of the globe, roasted by my favorite brands. And then I head out to discover, portray and recommend the coziest and most delightful cafés in Berlin.
